Catching Up

Our internet's working! It wasn't always thus; in fact, it's been down for thirty-six hours, which has made blogging difficult. And there's lots to write about, including...

• Hair, which I've seen twice in the past week (yesterday as well as last Thursday)
• American Idiot, which I saw...well, just now, actually. I'd been looking forward to this show for a while, partly because the album American Idiot remains one of my-all time favourites (in fact, one of my very first blog entries way back in September 2004 was a review of American Idiot). Mine and Bri Monster's first quasi-date was seeing Green Day on the American Idiot Tour the night George W. Bush was reelected. Ah, memories.
• The Nonsense Years in Review in Sports and Theatre and Books (there's no point in a year in review for movies: I might've seen five in 2011)
