Back in the Saddle

Greetings from Calgary, where it remains unusually warm (10°C at four o'clock this afternoon) and where I arrived yesterday following three wonderful weeks in Toronto. I had just enough time to watch Tim Tebow's latest miracle, play a soccer game, and buy groceries before passing out from exhaustion; I spent today getting my feet back underneath me at work, all the while laying some very basic groundwork for my next trip (I'll be in South and Central America for the better part of March) and delving into the Achtung Baby re-release (I've learned, for instance, that the version of "Even Better Than The Real Thing" that opened U2's later 360° Tour dates was the "Fish Out Of Water Remix"...which is obviously indispensible information). Let's do this, 2012. You're officially underway.
